Starting prices

  • Domain and hosting setup

    from $99

One-off. Provider fees are paid by you, in your own account.

  • Maintenance and monitoring, one year

    from $299 a year

Updates, certificate renewals, backups and uptime monitoring. One invoice a year, not a monthly subscription. Content changes quoted separately.

  • Email records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) configured

    from $79

  • Moving an existing site to new hosting

    from $149

Starting prices in Canadian dollars, excluding tax and parts. The final figure is confirmed in writing after diagnosis, and nothing is charged that you have not agreed to first.

What this includes

  • Domain registered or transferred, in your name
  • DNS, HTTPS certificates and www redirects configured correctly
  • Email sending records set up so your mail is not treated as spam
  • Deployment, with a staging copy to check changes before they go live
  • Monitoring, so a site that goes down is noticed by us first

Worth knowing

Hosting and domain fees are paid to the provider in your own account, not marked up through us -- what is charged here is for looking after the site. Maintenance is billed once a year rather than as a monthly subscription, which is one invoice instead of twelve and works out cheaper than the same cover charged monthly.

Common questions

Do I pay you for hosting, or the hosting company?
The hosting company, in your own account, at their price. We do not resell it with a margin on top. What is charged here is for maintaining the site, which is a separate thing from renting the server.
Is maintenance a monthly subscription?
No. It is billed once a year, which keeps it to a single invoice rather than a recurring charge you have to remember to review. It also works out cheaper than the same cover charged monthly.
Why do my emails go to spam?
Almost always missing or wrong SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on your domain. Mail providers treat a domain without them as unverified, and the fix is DNS configuration rather than anything in your email program.
